We teach kids the importance of exercise, show them simple exercises they can do at home to keep themselves healthy and strong. Studies show that student’s who exercise more are able to focus more on their studies and have a higher level of self- confidence.

 

The goal is get our students building strong healthy habits like making good food choices and regulary doing simple strength exercises such as Push ups, sit ups and squats.

 

We have found the increased physical activity as a result of the Wombat Kombat program:

 

Improved posture

Better sleep

Boost in confidence

More relaxed

Improved balance and develops flexibility.

 

FACT: The number of overweight children in Australia has doubled in recent years, with one quarter considered overweight or obese. A main cause of which is lack of physical activity and unhealthy food choices.
